UPDATE 18:30, 14 AUGUST 2024: An individual who appeared to be dressed as a Colorado Springs Policeman apparently attempted to take photographs of something SVC's Security Chief was working on a Library 21 C desktop. It is a Federal Felony regarding copyright infringement. He escaped the library. Regardless of who he is, he must be arrested.
UPDATE 15 AUGUST 2024: The dangerous escalation by the traitors/terrorists in Colorado Springs last night was an attempt to gaslight SVC's President and to give the Public the idea that SVC's President is the one who is in trouble with the law.
There is a very big problem with that. SVC's President is a ward of the International Tribunals, their Partner U.S. Federal Courts and the International Prosecutor. Any American Government Entity and American Law Enforcement Officers at whatever level must first receive permission from the Courts and International Prosecutor before they can investigate, arrest, question and/or prosecute SVC's President or any other SVC Officer or Official. This is standard Judicial Procedure in the United States and the imposter and his cohorts evidently do not understand that.

Fifty years ago this morning I finished my Driver’s Education Course, received my Certificate and went home to study for and pass my written test for my driver’s license that afternoon. I arrived just soon enough to hear new U.S. President Gerald R. Ford’s Inaugural Address.
I was struck most by these two lines: “My fellow Americans, our long national nightmare is over. Our Constitution works; our great Republic is a government of laws and not of men. Here the people rule.” It found its way into my first Doctoral Dissertation 25 years later and quoted at least twice in every one of my books the past quarter century.
The Second Chapter of REVIVAL OF THE AMERICAN DREAM “The American Nightmare” was named after the quote and was the most difficult of the seven Chapters to write. I didn’t care too much for discussing what I would label “America’s Darkest Day,” August 9, 1974.
According to my Concept of GENERAL SEMANTICS OF HISTORY, the effects of the Watergate scandal were the most egregious of any event in American History. It is what underlies Americans’ cynicism about and lack of trust in their government and the underlying cause for the vicious partisanship Americans witness today. It began the destruction of America’s exemplary reputation abroad. Vietnam fell 38 weeks later, becoming the only war America ever lost.
Simply put, the Universal Thematic Principle #1 of the American Dream - Faith & Trust in Our Political System - had been defiled in unprecedented ways and it was only the beginning.

My Family had returned from West Virginia the night before. We transferred our planes in Milwaukee and our new Pilot informed us that U.S. President Richard M. Nixon would address the nation and probably would announce his Resignation that night. My Mother was near tears.
When we arrived in my home town of Bozeman, Montana, I was told that I had won the Blue Ribbon for my Conservation Poster message “Conversation Is Key To Civilization”, at the FHA/FFA Fair and I would have to retrieve the poster ASAP at the Gallatin County Fairgrounds or it would be thrown away, so I missed the President’s speech. I later heard the speech on a tape my Father made for me.
For the first time that night, I heard the words of Theodore Roosevelt’s famous “The Man in the Arena” speech he made, fittingly enough, in Paris in 1910:
”Sometimes I have succeeded and sometimes I have failed, but always I have taken heart from what Theodore Roosevelt once said about the man in the arena, ‘whose face is marred by dust and sweat and blood, who strives valiantly, who errs and comes short again and again because there is not effort without error and shortcoming, but who does actually strive to do the deed, who knows the great enthusiasms, the great devotions, who spends himself in a worthy cause, who at the best knows in the end the triumphs of high achievements and who at the worst, if he fails, at least fails while daring greatly.’
“I pledge to you tonight that as long as I have a breath of life in my body, I shall continue in that spirit. I shall continue to work for the great causes to which I have been dedicated throughout my years as a Congressman, a Senator, a Vice President, and President, the cause of peace not just for America but among all nations, prosperity, justice, and opportunity for all of our people.”
To this day, I get emotional thinking about how profoundly these speeches and the events surrounding them have affected my life. In August 1974, I was a typical teenager and the most important thing in my life was to earn my driver’s license. I could have cared less about anything else.
Ever since, when I make my own speeches in public like this, I wonder if there is a teenager listening to me who will be moved to a life in Public Service because of what I say as I was 50 years ago by America’s 37th & 38th Presidents.
Ironically, former President Donald Trump is holding a Rally tonight in Bozeman in the Montana State University Fieldhouse. The last time President Trump campaigned in Bozeman was in 2018. I stood in four inches of snow canvassing against the candidate he was campaigning for, Matt Rosendale, watching Air Force One land at Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport.
I was supposed to be commanding Air Force Academy Cadets from Colorado Springs, Colorado, flying Air Cover for Air Force One. I refused to do so because Rosendale had been named in an Australian Parliamentary Report regarding his involvement in the International Insurance Kickback scandal as Montana State Auditor. The International Criminal Court has long-since convicted Rosendale of his crimes, yet he serves as the outgoing U.S. Representative for Montana Eastern District, #2.
Then-President Trump wanted me Court-Martialed because he believed I was still in the Service. Failing that after he learned I had retired from the U. S. Navy almost 17 years before, he wanted me fired as a Civilian Flight Instructor. The Air Force told their Commander in Chief, in so many words, to shove it.
While Tim Sheehy, who is the candidate that President Trump is campaigning for this time, is a Fellow Sailor and an infinitely better candidate than Rosendale, the bad taste that whole episode left in my mouth is still there and probably always will be. It’s difficult to believe two years before President-elect Trump interviewed me for Secretary of State. I declined because it would not have been in the best interests of the United States or its new President to be so far apart on Foreign Policy issues. I believed I would Resign in protest over what would become serious and multiple Trump gaffes or be fired “Apprentice Style” like Rex Tillerson eventually would be. I thought I would save everyone that grief.
By the way, I know Newt Gingrich and Rudy Giuliani also declined to serve for their own reasons. It should have told everyone something about Mr. Trump when he had difficulty filling his most senior Cabinet post. Wouldn’t anyone want to serve as Secretary of State?
The Democrats in Montana have been lobbying me heavily to return to Montana and help Jon Tester defeat Sheehy. The Coalition I helped build to defeat Rosendale added 35,000 Votes to Tester’s tally according to a CNN estimate. He won the election by just 18,000 votes in 2018.
Of course, the only reason I have ever had to do that sort of work to begin with was the American Organized Terrorism Opprobrium. From the U.S. Bankruptcy Court Ruling in the Jore Corporation’s case that forced me to pay-off the over $72,000 balance on its 173 Employee-Benefits Package Contract in 2002 to the Social Security Administration’s Medicare Resource Center slamming the phone down on me when requesting my Medicare Welcome Package just this morning, I have been maltreated in ways no other American ever has.
What’s interesting is August 9, 1974 may just have some competition as America’s Darkest Day, after all. And it comes from organized terrorism. Within 12 hours following the U.S. Capitol Insurrection on January 6, 2021, International Investigators and Observers found unequivocally that the only difference between the terrorists who struck the World Trade Center and Pentagon on 9/11 and those who ransacked and plundered the U.S. Capital on 1/6 is their nationality. Osama bin Laden had gotten his way and organized terrorism has successfully infiltrated and taken over the United States.
Both President Nixon and President Trump said they would be the “Law & Order President" in 1968 and 2016, respectively. That now sounds like someone’s idea of a bad joke.
When confronted with clear indications that his Administration’s malfeasance would support Impeachment Articles against him, President Nixon acted in the National Interest and resigned the Presidency to save the country from excruciating torment. His acknowledgment that he had failed the American people reflected deep remorse.
President Trump, on the other hand, characteristically seems incapable of taking personal responsibility, just like his fellow traitors/terrorists of the AOTO. His consistent response to two impeachments and almost 100 felony indictments has been to deny any kind of misconduct on his part and to allege that he is the victim, not the villain.
President Trump does not care for what the National Interest is, only what is best for him personally. Never mind the damage to the country as he exploits polarization which stems from Watergate and to raise funds for his businesses disguised as for his political campaigns and his legal expenses.
President Nixon’s moral and legal failings weigh against his many accomplishments as President. If it hadn’t been for Watergate, he may have become one of the truly great Presidents. President Trump can make no such claims.
Unlike President Trump’s unsupported assertions that he won the Presidential Election in 2020, President Nixon declined to challenge dubious results in the 1960 Election because he was, once again, concerned about the National Interest and further did not desire to undermine Constitutional processes. President Nixon’s respect for the electoral system differs starkly from President Trump’s persistent attempts to overturn its validated results.
The very fact that Donald Trump has now joined an elite group of Americans who have won a major party’s Presidential Nomination three or more times – Thomas Jefferson; Andrew Jackson; Grover Cleveland; William Jennings Bryan; Franklin Roosevelt; and Richard Nixon - when he has so many deficits which should clearly disqualify him, is a traumatizing thought. Only history will tell if 1/6 is now the Darkest Day in American History.
Just how far will the American People allow this moral deterioration and depravity to go? We will discover the answer soon enough. Hopefully, Revival of the American Dream may still be possible...
