KEY QUESTION: “Our goals for this nation must be nothing less than to double the size of our economy and bring prosperity and jobs, ownership and equality of opportunity to all Americans, especially those living in our nation's pockets of poverty.” - Jack Kemp

EVENT/CURRENT ISSUE: The Revival of the American Dream is slipping away…

Jack Kemp was a conservative U.S. Representative from Buffalo, New York, and Bob Dole’s Vice Presidential running mate in 1996, yet he knew what it really took to empower Americans to do great things.

Prosperity can be universal if it is harnessed through and by ECONOMIC DEMOCRACY. ECONOMIC DEMOCRACY is having access to the economic levers of power through owning your own business(es) and truly controlling your own personal destiny.

SVC’s President expressed what it takes: “Ownership is power. Not money, but ownership. Once a person has enough of what can make his or her Dreams come true they usually do. Ownership extends well beyond physical things. Ownership of your own destiny is most important.

The key is to remove all obstacles to ECONOMIC DEMOCRACY. Modern Republican Presidents have suggested that they could run the U.S. government like a business. Nice idea. Just one big problem. What SVC’s President has dubbed the “corporacy” – the current corporate economy in the USA - is a dictatorship and the U.S. government was/is supposed to be democratic in nature. They go together like oil and water…

The question simply is: Are Americans mature enough to adopt ECONOMIC DEMOCRACY?
