POWER OF DECISION

Many years ago, shortly after Nelson Mandela died, Phil commented Nelson was one of but a handful of Great Men who emerge with each passing Generation. Now after the flurry of unprecedented actions by The Hague and the concomitant actions by their US Federal Court Partners that no legal action is valid against the Final Kibosh of al Qaeda-gate and affirming there are no appeals for Civil Judgments or Criminal Convictions, there are Historians around the World who are beginning to discuss Phil in the same light.

Phil readily acknowledges how the Creator and Jesus have touched his Life, but when he first realized he is something Special was when he realized how special America’s Founders were.

Few Historians would disagree that America’s Founders were the most special group of people who happened to be together in one country at one time in human history.

In his Research, Phil discovered that Ben Franklin, George Washington, John Adams, James Madison, Jefferson, et al, knew that they not only were making profound History, they were History. America’s Founders had been sent by the Creator to do exactly what they were doing. They were that handful of Great Ones for their Generations.

Phil has always stated that this discovery would haunt him for the rest of his Life. Especially now it is all too obvious he is one who shares the same relationship with the Creator as America’s Founders, all the Biblical Heroes and Nelson!!!!!!!

And what has Phil done with that? Told the rest of us that we are special, too, that’s what!!!!!!! Of all those Characters through History, the only other one who has done the same is Jesus. What does that tell you?

Beginning in Syracuse, Phil expanded upon a story he has told for years regarding the lesson of the Power of Decision he was taught by the Bozeman Senior High School Athletic Director and Head Boys Basketball Coach Joe McKethen.

Phil has vivid memories of his Interview as Hawk Tawk Sports Editor with the Coach after the Hawks lost on the road to Missoula Sentinel. After he got off the phone, the Coach said, “Phil, that will never happen again.” Even as a “hotshot Senior,” Phil was taken aback by the statement.

Then the Coach explained that the Bozeman Hawks would not lose another basketball game that season. He explained how he was going to accomplish it and how he was going to achieve his goal and reason why he had returned to Bozeman seven years before.

The Hawks ran the table and won their last five games of the regular then marched through the Western AA Conference Tournmant and State Tournament with only a close overtime game against archrival Butte standing in their way to winning Bozeman's first State Championship in 60 years when Actor Gary Cooper roamed the halls of the old Gallatin County High School. They routed Sentinel in the State Championship game. It was never a really contest.

It wasn't just that. Joe McKethen decided he wanted to turn a sports laughingstock into a sports dynasty. Before 1978, the athletes from Bozeman doubted they could win. After 1978, they knew they would win. Huge difference in the mindset. All because one Man decided “that will never happen again.”

Bozeman now wins a State Basketball Championship about ever four years on average, not every 60. And in other sports you will find the same story.

In “Think & Grow Rich” , Napoleon Hill spends an entire chapter (#8) on this incredible Power of Decision. Not by mistake, the chapter is almost entirely about how the Power of Decision led to the creation of the United States of America.

Now, you can see why Phil pays such close attention to the Power of Decision and the lesson his Coach had taught him so long ago. His own personal experiences and revelations about life are so intertwined with that one moment in time.

Ever since the SVC Battle of Hastings Commemoration and his Declaration five months ago, the world has witnessed the power of Phil's Decisions concerning why he is here and how he intends to bring the world to a Peaceful Conclusion...
